A key indicator for the success of our various HRIS strengthening activities is their long-term sustainability and viability.  The foundation of our work has been to adopt open-source technologies and to create the iHRIS Suite.  With a solid, sustainable, technological foundation, we can work with local partners to ensure the success of the various strengthening activities with an '''Open Implementation'''

===What and Why===
Open implementation is our philosophy of systems implementation which strongly encourages the sharing of people, methods, and documentation.
*Various components of the iHRIS Suite are deployed in different types of environments.  By sharing the implementation details, a new implementation can build off of the successful methods of earlier implementations
