My name is John Liebhardt. I am a digital librarian/knowledge management specialist who works in Washington, DC USA. I also help out creating the iHRIS xChange. It’s in this role I am learning a lot about the power of community and the importance of sharing information. Before becoming a librarian I was a journalist who worked (mainly) in Burkina Faso. I spent a lot of time covering agriculture and economic issues, but also wrote a little on health. I also covered bloggers in Fiji, and spent some time covering (from afar) the Arab Spring through social media. I am excited to be working on iHRIS xChange, and I hope we can get this up and running and active in the next few weeks.
